Launch event. Champions are announced. Billing begins for everyone else.
Why does the Champion door close on 18 July? Because qualifying takes time. You need enough weeks to build a real habit. Join by 18 July and you have that time.

Do I have to be in the top 100 to keep Pro free?+
No. Everyone who qualifies keeps Pro free for a year. The 100 best stories are featured publicly as a thank-you, on top of that.
What if I join after 18 July?+
You still get Pro free during Early Access. The Champion free-year needs more time to qualify, so it closes to new joiners on 18 July.
What counts as an active week?+
Using a core tool on two different days that week. Showing up twice, not once.
Do I really have to use every feature?+
Yes. Verify, enrich, extract, send, save a template, and use Spin Syntax — each at least once.
When does my free year start?+
On 15 August, when billing begins for everyone else. Your Champion year runs from there.
